Finally a Cure for Aids Found!
by Breaking News: German Doctors are confirming that they have found a cure for AIDS!
Across the world, there are approximately 33 million people currently living with the HIV/AIDS virus. Although there has been lots of research and testing for a cure for this disease, none has been found, until now. Doctors in Germany have provided conclusive proof that they have cured a patient of the AIDS virus after a transplant of stem cells in 2007.
According to reports in several medical journals including Blood, the patients name is Timothy Ray Brown. Mr. Brown suffered from Aids and Leukemia and was given a transplant of stem cells. Doctors found out after the transplant that the donor had a rare gene mutation. It was this mutation that doctors are now claiming is the reason for the cure. Not only did the stem cell transplant cure the Aids virus but it also cured the Leukemia too.
While this news gives hope for anyone suffering with the HIV/AIDS virus, most doctors are taking the results with caution. When asked, most doctors see some issues with this treatment. Perhaps the biggest problem is with the percent of people that actually have this genetic mutation. Roughly only 1% of the Caucasian population and zero percent of the African-American population have this trait in their genes. There is also the problem with matching a donor with the recipient. Some other issues with this treatment are the expense of the transplant process, the extreme pain the patient experiences, and a whole pharmacy worth of drugs the recipient must take.
Even though there are issues with this treatment, anyone suffering from AIDS will certainly keep an eye on this. It is truly the first case of an actual cure for the HIV/AIDS disease and could very well lead to more treatments in the future. Mr. Brown went through the treatment more than 3 years ago now and remains virus free and has not needed any additional therapy since. Lets just hope he will not be the only one.

Very informative. But I don’t think the Health care Sytem will take it seriously. It’s really about time though they found the closest thing to a exact cure.
Just use protection everyone! Or better yet just don’t do it;)
using acupuncture is good for anyone with immune deficiencies. But keep in mind it will not cure aids. I just use it to strengthen my immunity.

There are two major problems that will come across that are 1. Expensive the problem with this thing is it will be surly expensive and 2. you never know about the dangerous side effects that are going to come along with the operation and other things..
