For Those in Need
About needy families on welfare.
Americans across the country face numerous hardships, economic trials and employment struggles with each passing day. The road to a brighter future for the nation’s uncertain economy seems to be taking a wrong turn. So many Americans today suddenly find themselves jobless, homeless and abandoned by their timely financial woes! In these trying times, applicants to state funded welfare and food stamp programs across the United States have grown in number. Unfortunately, thousands of Americans apply for government assistance only to be left out in the cold.
There are too many struggling families that do not meet the requirements for government help. These denied and often frustrated Americans must look to neighborhood charities, local area churches and over-crowded food pantries for help. The number of needy Americans seeking assistance grows day by day. Agencies such as The Salvation Army and The United Way are called upon for help as well.
Turning to government programs for much needed assistance is a harsh burden for some individuals and their families to bare. Often government assistance is associated with failure. Many are too proud to reach out when they are in need. The rich seem to be getting richer while the poor and disadvantaged seem to be slipping further into the depths of unwanted poverty. When will this misery end and at what cost to the nation?
Working together to build a better tomorrow begins with a helping hand. The nation’s economic recovery can not happen overnight. The number of people in need will continue to climb before it can drop. The abilities to offer charity and to accept it are triumphs to strive for.

Its like that over here, even though we get some money a week to pay the bills, its hard to get a job and money gets tighter as fuel bills keep rising despite them going down.I find its dishardening when you have worked all your life to live better, to be called a scrougher is not nice.
