Freedom for All

Talks about the war in Iraq, and freedom for all.

Hello to you that is currently reading this:

Well here I am in the sand box, far from home and from the society that I know and love. America home of the free, home of the brave, home of the political pigs that seem to have a overwhelming, and over-weighted control to dictate what goes up and what goes down. Each and everyday that I have rotted in the sandy place, I have come to the realization that America has lost that dream that we once had. In the early building phase of the American culture, that stands before us to day.

During a period that has now long passed away. Are founding fathers, there family’s and other people wanted to escape England. In search of lands to practice the own religious freedoms and politic mayhem. So as the story goes, these pilgrims crossed the the ocean blue, and settled into there new life in the new world.

An uncharted world falls to the grips and control of the London Company. Which also was in a race to control all uncharted lands in the world. These people new that the previous settlements had failed due to a lack of a government. And so, On the 11th of November 1620 the pilgrims that sailed on the Mayflower signed the Mayflower Compact. This compact was a underlining base of laws that the fellow man would abide by and in turn the government world derive its power from the governed. This first documented signing, was the biding between the people and the government that would become the base ground of later bills. Now as the country started to become one there was time to redraft a new concept. The United States Constitute was develop to be the supreme law of the United States of America on September 17, 1787.

Now this brings me to a point in this blog. What does the Preamble say and what does it mean to the rest of the world and what we do as a society as responsible Americans? The Preamble states this “We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States Of America.”

This is the bases of the American culture, right? The American Dream, which was a concept that become a realty in the New World. Freedom to the masses I say it right there in plain black and white.

In another document the United States Declaration of Independence was made. This has a very strong saying in it “Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness”.  This is the most famous phrase in the modern world. To have a life, to have freedom and have the option to pursuit ones happiness. These are the inalienable right of man. That’s right the human race! All of us have this right, it is a natural right for all.

Understanding these simple principles.  I see a violation to that of  “Human Rights” for the people of IRAQ.  We had to fight for the rights and freedom of all. So I ask you to read up and find out how America was built and see that it was not easy for us either.

So next time you are watching the NEWS and see a headline that talks bad about the President and his open heart to help a needy country. Think back to are starting days as a new country and be glad that someone fought for your freedom, that you have today.  The government that is in place is new and fragile. Yet with time and just like us, it will become strong. There is no knowing what the future my hold for this place and were it goes from here is up to you and me.
