It is my belief that those who are so against homosexuality have this completely rooted in fear, although it is often disguised as a religious belief. But then again Jesus was put to death on the cross because certain people were afraid of him. Our species is one that does not respond well initially to change. We tend to want to destroy anything that we feel is threatening to our way of thnking. There is an evolution to everything and I believe it will eventually become one of the rules as opposed to one of the exceptions however, I dont know that we will see it in our lifetime. Part of the evolution is information and conversation, and in doing that it becomes an issue not of gay rights but of HUMAN rights, as it should be. Good article and well written.
