Gay Marriage: The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly

            Having 2 gay uncles is not that different from having 2 straight uncles and sometimes people just have to accede that. They play dominos, cards, and videogames just like any uncle would. They talk with people normally and not uncomfortably with everyone. There are many essays, newspapers, or articles that would say the exact opposite to this one, but the truth is that you may not believe any of them until you actually meet a gay person and talk to them.

            There are thousands and thousands of gay couples in the U.S. One thing is that they shouldn’t be able to get married.  The government should not legalize gay marriage because it is not what we were taught when we were children.  We were never taught to love someone fro the same sex.  God made a woman for a man and a man for a woman.  Many people

Say that gay people are like straight people and should be treated the same.  Well, straight people do follow the law and no gay marriage is a law. Which one seems more convincing?

            There are so many things to do to help gay marriage be legalized in the whole country.  There are people that organize marches and there are people who all they can do to help is think differently. Many people may not believe this essay, but they should go out there and find a relative or someone they know is gay and talk to them. If they talk to them then it would all make sense. There is nothing else to do, but change their feelings towards gay people.

            Gay people seem to come out more and more each time into society.  You see more and more gay people, but can it be true that they can’t get married in some states? Yes, and it seems like even though they are like everyone else, they sure aren’t treated like anyone else.  Laws and history can tell you a lot about the gay community and maybe some day gay marriages will be legalized in the whole world.
