Girls, Wake Up!
by On the notion of "Equality" and wake up call for women.
I’m neither a chauvinist extremist, nor a homosexual. I talk straight, am straight! And thinking myself of a well wisher to the females around the globe, especially in India, i want to climb over a hill, with a ten-thousand watts loudspeaker and scream into it with full of my energy -
“GIRLS! WAKE UP!!!!!!”
The term “Equality” is one that is bit of mis-conceived and has been in the rhetoric for demanding equal status for women in virtually every aspect. Even a recent research claimed that girls didn’t have to look forward to a guy to have a baby! They may self fertilise themselves!
So coming back to the point, the thing is, that “Equality” is deceiving notion, and you girls have been deceived for a bit more than half a century…
Who demands equality?
Someone, who considers thyself to be at a lower status than the other. But here’s an interesting aspect to it. Girls want guys to acknowledge the fact that they are nonetheless equal to them in every field. They are asking men for equality, with men!
Will anyone, who’s unrighteously acquired a superior status, give way to the girls and give them equal status?
NO!
But then, we are too clever at deceiving the sheep.
We coin the term “Equality”.
Then, the “Sex Revolution” takes place in the 70’s…. Ha!
In order to shed the veil, the burqa, the nun’s robe and the ghoonghat, as a mark of women emancipation. Unfortunately, none realized that both the burqa and the g-string bikini are both the extremes!
To escape from one extreme, girls, have made another extreme their abode! Wake Up!
And does this diametrically opposite state offer some equalising, dignifying status to the women?
Probably not…
The image of the woman has evolved in the negative direction.
Sexual harassment, from the shallow to the extreme kind has increased. And, sexual dissatisfaction is at its peak.
Currently, the Women Reservation Bill’s tabled in the Parliament.
Essentially, reservations are for the underdeveloped, for the SCs and the STs… By demanding a quota, women have placed themselves in the league of SCs and OBCs…
And why only 33% reservation?
Why not 50?
My sincere request to the girls is, please, for God’s sake, don’t be-fool yourself from tokenism and shallow symbolism.
You are better, more evolved than us, there’s no need for us guys to give a certificate of your equal status.
