Global Warming; An Inconvenient Truth, or a Lie to Alarm Us All?

The co2 levels are way too high in the atmosphere! Oh no! Guess what? Again, part of a natural cycle. The co2 levels are at a record LOW, yes, LOW. Many millions of years ago, the carbon dioxide ppmv (parts per million by volume) were about 4000 ppmv or higher, and today’s amounts are between 350-380 (Zbigniew Jaworowski). Checking the records of past carbon dioxide levels, you’ll find that there is a huge cycle. We are at a record low, and the levels could still be going down, or be going up and we would still be on the right track. Many people don’t understand this because of the complication of the simple graph. There are too many things in the world that give off carbon dioxide, but still, carbon dioxide is not even a large factor in the greenhouse effect. In fact, most is actually water vapor, not carbon dioxide! Simple water vapor is causing the greenhouse effect. Anyway, without the greenhouse effect, we never would’ve existed! The greenhouse effect is supposed to keep us warm, but not too warm.

I’m sure the folks up in Canada wouldn’t mind a warm spell! What about people in Greenland? I’m sure they’d love that their children will be able to see beautiful, green grass in their homeland someday. It’s been cold lately. And, it has been warm. The temperature has been jumping around. Who knows what could happen. Let the Earth run its cycle, and just keep living life to the fullest. If the glaciers melt, let the animals adapt. That would give merchants a new route across the north arctic, which would be clear of ice for quick transportation to Asia and Europe. Al Gore doesn’t know for sure that Florida is going to be flooded by melting glaciers! Don’t worry! We’ll find a way to survive! We always have! Even if we have to relive Noah’s Ark through Al Gore, let it be. It’s a natural cycle. Another closing point, humans are nature. We are here naturally. We were meant to live here. If the earth is warming, so be it. Stop your steam shovels, and switch to solar panels. Stop your driving to work, and walk the miles, it’d burn off that ‘Big Mac’ from the other day, too! But, my point is, it isn’t going to change anything. The Earth is warming; however, once again, it is all a natural cycle of the earth. You can’t stop the cows from farting. Al Gore’s not going to stop flying in jumbo jets. He’s still exhaling carbon dioxide, right now. So are you.
