Global Warming: Is It Worth Worrying About?
The scare of global warming, greenhouse gases and other types of pollution caused events have been sweeping the nations of the world for the past several decades. Coupled with the rise and fall of the world market as well as individual nations economy, the price to set things right seem expensive. Is it worth it to spend ridiculous amount of money saving a planet that we all depend on for our livelihood, or should we let our toll on earth run its course into complete self-destruction?

Today’s world is filled with poverty-stricken nations, war, unstable economic climates, countries struggling with famine, over-population, as well as other devastating issues. To make it even worse a majority of our relationship involving our planet, will consequently mean the end of our existence in a whole. So is saving our planet and our future generations worth spending money on to rectify and prolong life on Earth?
First of all, of course, if we could change the fate of our planet we should and as soon as possible. Yes, the magnitude of saving a whole planet is costly and still extremely justifiable. Not only from the jobs that will be supplied to the public to continue these efforts, but also for the countries and people who have endured the most of the effects of pollution. Rain Forest and other ecosystems still have both species of animal as well as plants life, some in which could be the answer to curing some of our well-known disease such as cancer and HIV.
Scientist who understand that the earth is deteriorating, also need to realize the amount of money truly can be invested and sort to find a more affordable way to support their environmental friendly efforts. At the same time everyday people can contribute something that can help our earth, such as using alternative fuels, recycling, picking up litter, planting trees, disposing of waste properly, as well as energy conservation techniques and so forth. It could be a small as using pump action sprays rather than aerosols, or other small tasks that involve a choice between what’s more environmental friendly compared to environmental hazards.
Just recently, US Energy Secretary Steven Chu proposed an idea that is not only affordable but also equivalent to taking all cars off the road for eleven years. This idea involves the painting of roofs a reflective white and using a lighter shade of concrete to decrease greenhouse gas emissions. Thinking about it the idea is somewhat ingenious as far as coming up with an affordable way to save our planet. (US wants to paint the world white to save energy, 2009)

Great Article, but global warming is not as real threat, even the EPA is saying that the Earth is in a cooling down phase until 2030.
