Global Warming: The Final Scene
The issue on “Global Warming” has become popular due to given heightened attention in the society today.

Experts can technically explain this term with full sufficiency: its causes and effects. Perhaps you must have heard a lot of these already, in several occasions, but to ordinary persons, this term remains a big fuss to consider.
I endeavored to figure out what could be the best example to cite for better understanding of global warming. And I would like to use, by way of illustration, a house as a classic example in this concept.
Isn’t it true that our house protects us from all forms of weather conditions? Heat, sunlight, rain or any hostile climatic condition, the house serves as our first line of defense. Its walls and roofing protect us from the heat of the sun or even rapid rain or voluminous snow perhaps.
But to relate it to the concept of global warming, let us, therefore, consider its protective role from the heat. As the heat strikes the walls and roofing, warm temperature inside the house develops, hence, the need to adjust ventilation, either by opening the windows or by putting the exhaust-fan on.
By opening the windows or turning the exhaust- fun on, the heat trapped inside the house is gradually being released outside to avert warming. In the same manner when the windows are close, temperature then gradually increases resulting to warming.
I think I have given my readers an empirical clue already on global warming.
Now, let’s proceed to the simple technical/scientific explanations. The earth surface is protected by natural elements of gases against the energy (heat from the sun. We know, for a fact, that direct exposure to radiation from the sun is dangerous. This natural barrier against radiation, we call it the ozone layer, composed of gaseous elements, serves as our first line of defense against the intense heat energy from the sun.
One of the elements in the atmosphere protecting the earth is carbon dioxide. Its role is to trap the heat radiated by the sun. This is important to maintain a state of balance on earth surface, for without the heat, much if not all of the surface would have been covered by ice., hence not conducive to human survival.

Until yesterday it was only warnings, but now we face the reality of uncertainty looming above us. Global warming is taking its toll in different forms such as unexpected floods, greenery turning to deserts and worst is still to come.
