Green Energy and the Gas Crisis
How the gas crisis came to be and facts supporting green energy.
Many people have opinions on the oil crisis and green energy argument. Many people right now probably want the price to drop even lower back down to about fifty cents a gallon. The main reason gas used to be about fifty cents a gallon was gas companies competed for customers which meant that whoever had the cheapest gas would get the most customers.
Once OPEC (Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries) was created, the prices started to regulate due to lack of competition. If gas went any cheaper nowadays the oil companies would lose profits and shoot the price right up to 3.5-4 dollars a gallon. The green energy argument is that if we switch to green energy global warming will stop. Global warning will not immediately stop. If we stopped all greenhouse gas emissions it would take about 50 years for the atmosphere to become clean again. I think we should fund lots of money into green energy. Most of it is limitless so we might never have a energy crisis again.
