The arrival of Obama and the U.S. embassy made the entire police personnel on guard tight. This is done to give them comfort and security in Indonesia.
Dozens of U.S. Embassy staff began to arrive and enter the Istiqlal Mosque compound, Wednesday (10/11). Some of them, both men and women, wearing sunglasses equipped with communication devices in the ear.
While the guard around the complex looks more tightened. Vehicle standards ranging from armored combat or barracuda, anti-terror vehicle, and explosives disposal team car alerted.
According to Colonel Greg Susanto, commander of the security task force, hundreds of personnel combined military and police are ready to accept Obama’s visit to the largest mosque in Southeast Asia.
Central Jakarta police chief Sr. Comr Hamidin said at least 3244 personnel deployed during Obama’s visit in Indonesia. He added that traffic was forced to use open and closed systems in order to give his number one priority for the U.S.. (Adi / Ulf)
