Gun Polices

Gun polices are controversial and reflect two perspectives of gun control or the constitutional right to bear arms. These proposed and enacted gun polices of control change directly reflect the voice of the people who want this change to take place. It is a important issue and is to peered into to understand the fundamental differences of opinion and gun control policies and the impact it has on the country of America.

A good example of why the ownership of guns should be in the hands of citizens is also based on an economic one.  An example is a police department in a very rural community and loses its funding and there is not enough money to pay n adequate police department and perhaps that there is one or two police there. An example is an escaped convict/assailant beak into your home brandishing a gun.  Obviously the key factor is that the probability of the police getting there in time is on the negative side.

A good example of how gun control does not prevent gun crimes is that say a serial killer is planning on going on a killing spree.  He is probably not going to register his gun and instead buys a hot gun.

A good example of gun advocates would be the National Rifle Association.  They dedicate much time in lobbying for gun rights.  They support their political stand on this issue of gun ownership.  Let one remember that the only use for a gun is for killing in defense but is also utilized by many for hunting purposes.  This reflects the other side of the coin for gun advocates and gun polices.

The contrasts of perspectives for gun control and gun advocates have been clarified. One can see that they are both strong opinioned perspectives.  This leads one to the similarity.

The similarity is that they both know that it was part of the constitution and differ on policy.  They both agree on the issue of violent crime and that it is a problem

The differences lie in who should be allowed and not allowed to own guns.  The one is based on a crime control model while the other takes a constitutional view.  There are pros and cons to both sides of their perspectives.

It is crucial that the preservation of rights continue to be safe guarded or one will find them selves in a nation where they do not make their own decisions but live in an authoritarians society.  The United States is a democracy and one should have the right to own guns or to pursue the right not to own guns.  This is an issue about gun responsibility.
