Gun to My Head

Guns and Children.

How about when you come home from school one day, you go to open the door, someone opens it from inside, and you find that you have a handgun pointed at your head, and they click it!  There are no words that can be spoken or typed that can explain how someone feels when this happens.  Thank God the gun was not loaded, but we have all heard for a fact that there has been miss fires due to a bullet being stuck inside, what if that had happened, then that person would of lost their life  in an instant.

We have so many types of guns in the world for children to see and play with.  Water guns, Toy guns, Video game guns, Halloween costumes have guns with them, Toy stores sell police play sets with guns.  It is just outrageous.  How many children and innocent people have to die before anything is done about it.  How many kids have to lose the life of a parent, a brother or sister, a family member?

I was shocked when I went online today, and I seen a photo of a child holding a gun and pointing it out.  Yes, it was a play gun, but the one who took the photo was like excited about their child holding this gun and shooting it, even to play.  I have to admit, it is a nice picture base on the texture and color and she is a cute child, but to see her holding this gun, was just something else, made me think right away to write this.  And what was worse, it was listed as some on the hot content photos being looked at.

If you look on Picable, yes, I also have a couple pictures that show a woman and man with guns, but I am not showing them to be excited, in fact my comment below them, is that we need more gun laws basically.  I just cant see how anyone would flaunt that their child is holding a gun in their hand.

How many mothers are out there who lost a child, be it by drive by, accident, suicide, murder, but all to do with guns.  It seems so useless, especially when you see a child laying bloody on the ground from a gunshot, or attend the funeral of a young child or teenager due to guns.

Hunting, why do men want to go out and kill an innocent deer, or squirrel, or any animal.  To hang a trophy on the wall, to strip it clean, and eat it.  There are many other ways to get deer meet, then to go out and shoot a harmless deer in the woods.  I have not to this day ever eaten deer meat, and never will.  As just the thought of it makes me sick.

We need someone to do something, before things get any more out of control, before many more children, parents, family, lose their lives.  I got after my daughter and son in law when I realized she had put these pictures of guns on my photo disk.  She could only say, we have them for protection, then get a bat I say, and I hate the idea they have them, to go practice shooting, for what, at what?  I just told them I don’t ever want them near me.  They say they lock them up, but, kids find a way, and someone could always break in and get them.  I just hate the idea.

Take a moment, and look at all who have lost their lives to guns, maybe you wont think it means much, but how will you feel when it is one of your family members.  You just might feel differently…

Do to copyrights, and the fact that it is a horrifying thing to think of or look at, I did not, and could not, put photos on here with actual killing of or by children, but I want you to take a look at the photos below and see how kids think that guns are fun these day…

I need say no more !

“How about when you come home from school one day, you go to open the door, someone opens it from inside, and you find that you have a handgun pointed at your head, and they click it!”

WTF are you talking about? You say that like it’s a common occurrence. The person doing that would be arrested and thrown in jail. And you haven’t suggested a solution. I’m pretty sure in California the law requires you to keep guns loaded guns locked if you have children…

For your information, this did happen just as I said. For a fact, it was my cousin who did it to me!!! He was playing with my fathers handgun that he took out of a drawer, and this was about 35 years ago, and laws were not as strict then about being locked up!!! So no “WTF” you talking about, I never told my parents my cousin did this, as he used to always harass me in one way or another.. I was scared of him guess you could say…. So before you judge, make sure of what your judging on!
The overall article was to state that guns are to this day easily available to children, if not.. why do we hear of children walking into schools with handguns and rifles and killing students and teachers!!!
