H1 N1 is an endemic in humans that is taking over the Asian countries at present. Other strains of H1 N1 are endemic in pigs (swine influenza) and in birds (avian influenza).

H1 N1 influenza is a killer endemic which was first detected in the United States. The symptoms of H1 N1 are similar to the symptoms of seasonal flu which involves fever, cough, sore throat, runny and stuffy nose, body aches, headaches, chills and fatigue. The seriousness of this illness is that it can lead to death. People who are prone to be effected are people who are 65 years or older, children younger than five years old, pregnant women and anyone with chronic medical conditions. Malaysia is also infected by the flu, which has brought Malaysia into a uproar on what is going to be next.In Malaysia alone, sixty eight cases have been reported. However, no deaths were reported.
