Happiest and Not The Happiest, The World’s Countries
The last, 2011 Journal, entitled "The Global Welfare Survey," Legatum Institute "after sorting 110 countries according to their overall well-being. Countries, which are managed by despots in the list is not included.

with Deirdre N. McCloskey, a distinguished professor of economics, history, English and communication at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
At the event, McCloskey discussed her latest book, Bourgeois Dignity: Why Economics Can’t Explain the Modern World, in which she makes the point that the rise of the West can be understood only as a result of an ideological change that occurred in England in the 17th Century, and of the emergence of the “bourgeois deal” through which entrepreneurs were let free to engage in innovation and creative destruction. In return, they then turned on the engine of modern economic growth. McCloskey expressed her worries about the future of free societies. “Democracy and capitalism are two rather different animals,” she said. “We need to make sure that they get along, and, most importantly, that they don’t kill one another.”
Several years ago, “Legatum Institute (an independent research institute, carries out world-level research and development, declaring the results obtained in the annual report), the Board considered the world’s welfare. And they could not respond to two questions: first of all – why some countries, starting with a situation very similar to progress faster than the rest? And all agree that life requires more than physical assets, there is a second question – why some countries people are happier and more satisfied with everything?
The last, 2011 Journal, entitled “The Global Welfare Survey,” Legatum Institute “after sorting 110 countries according to their overall well-being. Other troubled countries shaken by the lack of data: Libya, Iraq, Afghanistan, Somalia and Haiti.
Examination, 40 years of data and results of the eight areas were identified – the constituent parts of well-being: economics, business management, education, health, security, personal liberty and social capital. Then, in such a public opinion research companies like Gallup, the databases were searched reliable data on which to categorize countries according to their performance in these areas.

Norwegians – the second best in their living standards assessing the nation: 95 percent. is pleased to have the freedom to choose how to live, even 74 percent. trust other people.

Active participation of citizens in political life and the prevailing social equality is consistent with environmental protection and 123-s mobile phones per 100 inhabitants, all of which together create a technologically sophisticated people in the socialist paradise.
4) New Zealand
According to confidence in the government, education and personal freedoms in New Zealand is in the 2nd list. There is more tolerant of immigrants minded people in the world than the New Zealand population.
3) Australia
Australia has risen from 5th place in 2009 This is a good educational system, the effective labor officials and a thriving trade in natural resources in the result.
2) Denmark
Denmark 2, a third year in a row. This tiny state leaders and business opportunities for exploitation to promote. Social well-being – social equality, good communication and the world’s lowest cost business to start.
1) Norway

Civil unrest, little civil liberties, a low level of education of girls. Only a third of respondents claim to have any work.
4) Pakistan
Inefficient, unstable government. It is very dangerous and hostile to foreigners by the state.
3) Ethiopia
Only 30 per cent. literate population, 40 per cent. – Undernourished, 20 percent. the unemployed.
2) Zimbabwe
Illiteracy, corruption. Non civil rights. Bullous political violence.
1) Central African Republic
Never worse. 10 percent. infant does not receive the first birthday. Schools, one teacher teaches about 91 students. No basis for further development.
