Hippies

My little piece of writing is about the Hippies of the late 60S. First off, let me make something clear, there are three things that come to mind when we talk about hippies. you gotta remember this now…Pot, pot and more pot. All the Hippies ever did was smoke marijuana (pot), sing songs about peace and never do anything. I did a bit of research and guess what, the hippies had this rather big and long festival called the Woodstock festival where they would come together and sing songs for about 2 days, and be smoking pot for about 47 hours non-stop and still come out alive to fight for peace. yes i thought you might have heard of Woodstock, cause it was the one which had killed a large area of land, and do you know how they killed it? well, where do you think they dump all the drugs and…go in a large music festival that lasts for 2 days? In the ground. that piece of land was dead, and you couldn’t plant anything on it for a whole 2 years!!!

And one other thing. You know how all the Hippies protested for peace? They never did anything. The younger generation just sat there and smoked and said:”peace everybody. We want peace.” and never did anything to promote it. The older generation how ever, actually got off their butts and did something. they made speeches, posters, leaflets. In fact my grandfather still has one!

So there you go. The hippies
