How to Face Goodbyes

Some simple tips on how to overcome the sad feelings of goodbye.

 Everyone must have experienced separation. Moving to new places, graduation, and many more.Goodbyes are simply inevitable. The sad feeling when we’re saying goodbye maybe egregious, but there are always ways to overcome such a thing.

1) Always keep in mind that you are going to meet each other in the future

Always look on the bright side. No matter how far you are from them, it is never impossible to meet them again in the future. With a proper plan and time management, a reunion can be easily arranged. So when you keep this in mind, when you think positively, you can reduce the sorrow of separation.

2) Always keep in touch!

Nowadays we have cell phones, internet, and all those useful gadgets. So why not put them to use and contact your friends while you are away? Before you say goodbye, make sure that you have their phone number and email, so you can contact them in the future.

3) Try to think of the benefits of the separation

This may be hard, but it should work. Try to think how the separation would benefit you in the future. If you went to a far away country to further your study, always say to yourself ” I’m doing this for my future, so I should be strong!”. Give some sort of motivation to yourself, so that you will be stronger each and everyday.

4) Find a new hobby, or focus on the recent ones

Try and distract yourself from this feeling. You are not running away from it, it’s just a kind of treatment, and it really works! Trust me! Learn music, take piano classes ( i do, haha ), and other things that will keep you busy and provide you entertainment

Try not to let this feelings get into you, because this can affect your life and performance in anything. So that is all, I hope it helps!
