Human Rights “Israel Deprives Palestinians of Their Basic Needs”

Human Rights Watch on Sunday said that Israel prevents development as part of the Palestinians in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem while pumping funding for Jewish settlements.

The organization focused in its report, which came in 166 pages on Israeli policies in parts of the West Bank, Palestinian Authority does not have any control under interim peace accords and in East Jerusalem which Israel annexed after capturing it in 1967.

The organization, based in New York that “Israeli policies in the West Bank discriminate harshly against the Palestinian population and deprive them of basic necessities while generously providing the amenities of the Jewish settlements.”

And the refusal of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the criticism and accused human rights organizations collectively “hypocrisy” with regard to Israel.

Netanyahu said in a speech to American Jewish organizations that such “turning a blind eye to the most oppressive regimes in the world .. the systems that  punished the women, hanged homosexuals” but aimed at the State is “the only liberal democracy in the Middle East.”

The report highlights the cases which he explained that Palestinian villages in the West Bank are deprived of electricity and running water and road infrastructure, while the nearby settlements of which has all the comforts of daily life.

The village of El-Deeb meal Palestinian near Bethlehem is one of the cases cited by the report. The Human Rights Watch, said the village inhabited by 150 people can not only be reached through a dirt road and that Israel refuses to connect the electricity grid in Israel.

The report added that the settlement of Sde Bar Small, 350 meters only has a paved road, private and available to all modern amenities. Around 50 people in the settlement.

The Human Rights Watch, Israel has indicated that security concerns as a reason for any discriminatory treatment.
