Hussein Kills Osama Bin Laden
by Barack Hussein Obama will go down in history not only as the first African-American President. He will also be credited with being Commander-in-Chief responsible for the execution of Osama Bin Laden, master mind of the 9/11 attacks that changed America and the world forever.

There was much to do about nothing when it was revealed that President Barack Obama’s middle name was Hussein. The right wing of congress seized upon the newly elected President’s middle name, one derived from his Father’s lineage, and tried desperately to connect President Obama to his Father’s Muslim roots. The fear what you don’t understand tactics that are so popular in the right wing playbook briefly had legs but quickly faltered at the election finish line.
Since the formation of the Democratic and Republican parties were formed the distinctions between them have been made stark. The Democrats are labeled as “Doves,” soft on terrorism and pro-government. The Republicans have positioned themselves as “Hawks,” war ready and willing to get their guy, “Dead or Alive!” Pure Capitalism, with little to no government interference is their credo.
Yesterday, May 1, 2011 Osama Bin Laden was killed in a small town inside Pakistan in a carefully planned and executed mission at the hands of U.S. Navy Seals in a shoot out that lasted less than an hour. The intelligence gathering, surveillance, logistical placement and execution of the plan was ordered by a “Dove!” What? A Democratic President who has been soft on foreign policy carefully and effectively oversaw a team of military experts that eliminated the world’s most wanted fugitive?
Pinch me! I must be dreaming. I heard he was a Muslim? I heard he wasn’t born in America? I have heard so many ridiculous things about this President from the right wing that they should be ahamed of themselves. That is our President! I know he is the President of the United States of America! They have UNITED right in the title. I know being Born in Hawaii counts as being born in America, even though it’s not connected to the big America chunk. I know that this country was based on religious freedom so I really don’t care how or who his father worships.
What I do care about is that President Barack Hussein Obama, Commander-in-Chief, and President of this fine country did, as a “Dove” in 2 years, what a “Hawk” couldn’t do in 8! Osama Bin Laden is Dead! The families who lost loved ones in the horrific attacks of 9/11 have some closure. The whole world will feel a little safer for a few days or weeks. It will not mean the end of terrorism. A new spokesman will take the helm of hate against America and her friends. I’ll bet you a dollar to donuts the right wing will have something bad to say about how the “Dove” killed “Public Enemy #1,” by the end of the day. Just you watch.
