IMF Mission Visit Yemen Next Week

The visit comes as he prepares for elections in Yemen, 21 of February in the wake of the departure of President Ali Abdullah Saleh of the country on Sunday, clearing the way for a power-sharing deal in the wake of a year of demonstrations and protests marked by violence.

A spokesman for the International Monetary Fund, “IMF mission will visit Sana’a next week to discuss the submission in support of the budget and balance of payments in the framework of the highway, a credit window for Fund concessional lending to countries with economic or political shock.”
