In Ukraine, Presented The First Telemedicine Network

Mobile communications “MTS Ukraine has launched telemedicine network in operation, built under the project” Mobile Medicine “to the development of telemedicine in Ukraine.

The project “Mobile Medicine” was a test telemedicine network that is uniting the four units: the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, National Clinical Research Telemedicine Center in Kiev, Donetsk and Transcarpathian (Uzhgorod) regional hospitals. The next step will be to spread the lessons learned throughout Ukraine at regional hospitals.

Building a network to make highly affordable medical care for residents of regional centers and patients who come for consultation to the regional hospital from remote settlements and improve the quality of care through better diagnosis. Doctors and patients Donetsk and Transcarpathian regional hospitals were able to transmit on-line diagnostic data, specialized professionals to get advice and consultation doctors gather and participate in the conference, leaving the study. The economic feasibility of implementing telemedicine systems caused by such use of more sustainable human and material resources.
