India Leads World in Road Deaths
by First ever global report published by World Health Organisation on Road accidents. It revealed that more people die in road accidents in India than any other country.
Though China is leading country in population but according to the global reports released by World Health Organisation this year revealed that India leads world in road accidents.

India is the most fastest developing country around the globe. And reading this report about India is really strange. Well its not a big deal. India having large number of vehicles, more than any other country. Out of the total vehicles in India only 48% vehicles are registered and only 30 % have insurance policy. This is really a poor fact. Even 40% population use to drive without any license, without any licence because there is under 16 population also in India who use to drive and they all can’t get any licence, this is the main reason i suppose behind these road accidents in India, and around 60 % drive without any safety measures like helmet, seat belt etc. One of the most Important fact is that in India you can find many animals just walking on the road and no one takes action against it.

Disconcerting facts:-
Over 2 million people die every year on world’s roads.
Sweden, japan and Australia has safest road, with only 5.4 death fatality per 1 lakh people.
Key causes for such accidents are:- drunken driving, speeding, no helmets, seat belts and child restraints.
IN India:- The road accidents in India are really worry some at least 15 people die every hour due to accidents in the country. Road deaths registered sharp increasing rate of 6.1% from 2008 in India. Road accidents are increasing at alarming rate. Why people don’t understand that its better to be late than never.
Why they want accidents for speed? Is there any answer for this question. Why people are more crazy for speed than their parents who are waiting for them at their houses?
Some remedies
- Use helmets while driving
- Use seat belt
- You should always have insurance cover an policy
- You must have licence before driving with you.
- Your vehicle should be registered
- You should not drive while drunken
- Don’t be crazy for speed as your family is waiting.
