INDONESIA POPULATION IN 2010 by province.
Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) released the latest population of Indonesia in 2010. The total population of Indonesia to date reached 237.56 million.
Of the 33 provinces, regions where the largest population? According to the BPS survey, the province of West Java is the most populated areas. Noted, the total to reach 43.02 million.

BPS also noted, RI population growth rate continued to decline compared to 30 years ago. Population growth in 2000-2010 is only 1.49 percent, an increase over the year 1990-2000 which is 1.45 percent.
Earlier, in the 30-20 year population growth was recorded RI high enough for the period 1930-1961 the growth rate of 2.15 percent, in 1961-1971 the growth rate of 2.13 percent, in 1971-1980 with the population growth rate 2.32 percent .
Deputy for Social statistical Connecticut Wynandin Imawan said, with a large population amounted to 237.56 million in RI until it makes Indonesia to be ranked fourth in the world for population affairs. Predicted up to 2050, the RI population will reach 288 million and was ranked sixth.
