Infanticide (The Intentional Killing of Infants)

I had never heard of this before and the article intrigued me, so I wanted to share.

Infanticide the practice of intentionally killing an infant, 80% of the time it’s the mother who commits the act.  In some societies, certain forms of infanticide were considered permissible. Female infants are more commonly killed, rather than the males due to sex-selective.

The practice of infanticide takes many forms, sacrificing a child is one of those forms, a child is sacrificed to supernatural figures or forces. I consider this a satanic ritual, murdering your child and offering him/her as a sacrifice.

Anthropologist note that infanticide has been practiced on every continent and by people on every level of cultural complexity, hunters and high civilization, even our own ancestors rather then being an exception, then it has been the rule.

On an island in Oceania, in the 20th century infanticide was carried out through suffocation.

In ancient history a child was sacrificed to please supernatural being.

Three thousand bones of young children were found in Sardinia, the children had been offered to a Babylonian Goddess, every tenth child was offered during difficult times.

I know that times get hard, but wouldn’t you rather go hungry before you let something happen to your child?  God once ordered Abraham to sacrifice his son, but this was only because God wanted to know if Abraham truly loved him and what extent would he go to prove it.

Eons ago they practiced Infanticide, but I promise you, if you triedthat now your butt would be thrown in jail faster than you could say unfit parent.

Its criminal and should be treated as murder, there are no circumstances when taking an infants life is justified. Good article and pictures. LB

I don’t understand how anyone can consider killing an innocent child. A thought provoking piece.

Excellent. Thanks. Its bigger than Infanticide.

They are finding through scientific studies that the child in womb can feel when it the scalpal comes a calling.

Makes you wonder scientifically who we are killing and how our culture/society maybe paying for it today.
