Is Rough-housing Good for Kids?

      Many schools have banned rough-housing because they say that this kind of play is not good for young children. This is where they are wrong. Studies have shown that rough-housing is good for young kids. One professor decided to test this out on rats. She put a group of rats into one room and a lone rat into another room. The rats in the room for social rats developed well and had no trouble working well with others. They were allowed to play fight, so they did, and when they might other rats they knew how to stay out of trouble. The lone rat in the other room did not do well. It had trouble getting into a colony and hanging around other rats. So this should be the answer to this question.
