It’s Time to Destroy Cancer

In 2003, about 556,902 people in the world were killed by cancer. The most shocking part of this fact is that the majority of these victims had families. People who loved them, cherished them, cared for them, and who were devastated once they were gone. To think that a loved one died because of an incurable disease is awful. To think that you couldn’t do basically anything to help them. To see them in their hospital bed, slowly dying. It makes you feel angry and helpless. That is why I strongly believe it’s time. Time to do something to help cancer patients. I believe we all need to donate something to stop the suffering. To stop children from seeing their loved ones die. We can all help in one way or another. It doesn’t necessarily have to be a financial donation. It can be time. You can donate time to help out someone you know that is suffering from cancer. Hey who knows?! Maybe we will soon have a cure to cancer, but we all have to make an attempt to help finance the research. Can you imagine a world in which cancer is non existing? In which children who once suffered from that terrible disease can now run and play without a care in the world, instead of lying on a bed all die worrying that death is near. Those children will also be able to grow to be adults and to live the life that cancer had once made almost impossible to achieve. Would you like to destory cancer? It’s time to bring the statistics down! It’s time to make it zero deaths a year instead of 556,902 deaths. It’s time to strive for a better future, not only for you and me but for the entire world and for future generations. It’s time. It’s time. IT IS TIME!
