Jobless American Born Citizens
There are a lot of Americans out of work, they have college degrees, bachelor and master degrees. Some are flipping hamburgers at McDonalds. Some have been looking for jobs for 2-3 years and finding none. One person I know has submitted 371 job applications in the last couple years. In spite of her degree and some on the job training she cannot find work and TANIF is about out. When and how will it end?
Our national leaders have their head stuck in the sand. They ignore the fact that American born citizens are out of work, getting downsized. That college degrees do not cut it. The latest trend is if you do not have a job employers will not hire you because there must be something wrong with you or your work ethics or your lazy. The truth is some have a lot of experince and education but were laid off due to age or the company downsized and sold work over seas to nations that work for a lot less. Another truth is there are a lot of legal aliens with green cards. One woman I know has a college education she has worked a little and has experince. She is living on TANIF which federal laws state after 5 accumlative years runs out. She has 11 months left and has put in since her graduation from college 2 years ago 371 job applications she is qualfied for and some she just tried to get any job. But she never gets called for an interview.
Here are some of the facts as to why.
#1. Employers still afraid of being sued for discrimination of not having enough people of one race or another hire hispanic, asian, black first even when those people are not as qualified.
#2. They also hire illegal aliens that are willing to take lesser pay and the boss looks the other way and asks no questions. They hire people from other nations who are not citizens with green cards.
#3. You don’t have enough experince even if you have a college degree or else not enough education if you have the experince
#4. If you have a job already your more likely to be hired for a new job because your showing your productive.
#5. You have bad credit which is wrong for any employer to even be looking into. People cannot pay bills if they cannot get a job and so credit goes bad. Who’s fault is that. The employers who hire all of the above first.
#6. If you have children they are less likely to hire you now too because you might need time off from work for emergencies or things and so they find reasons not related to not hire you.
#7. Your new to the area and do not have local references to call and see about your work history. Even though you have an impressive one from where ever it is you moved from many employers want to talk to another employer from where they are at.
