Legalization of Marijuana
A list of reasons why marijuana decriminalization should be considered.
- It is a well documented fact that marijuana smoke is less harmful to the lungs than cigarette smoke is.
- About 20,000 people die each year in alcohol related car accidents. There has never been a car crash due to marijuana.
- Marijuana is recreational and a soft drug. No one has ever died from marijuana (pending an allergy).
- Legalizing marijuana sales could, according to some economists, lower our National Debt (USA) by upwards of 1 trillion dollars every three years.

Interesting, I have been writing a paper about this, I liked your insight on the economic value, I hadn’t thought of that.

You have some good points there.
Two more that i just thought of are:
-Once decriminalized users will be open to a less dangerous “black market” and might even have the ability to buy it in coffee shops and so forth
-Many users will not loose there jobs
Nice article ^^

Verry interesting
I live in holland where this is already legalized and here in holland we have a fewer number of drug addicts compared to neighbouring countries. Also a lot of tourists come here for the marijuana earning us lots of money from tourism.
