Life Inprisonment for Drug Dealers

We throw our Children too the Wolves, when we should be protecting them.

I feel so sorry for drug addicts. It must be terrible living your life one day to the next, trying to find the cash for your next fix. Going though the pain of withdrawal, being so addicted that you’d Rob Steal or Burgle to get the cash.

Being so addicted that you’d even use a knife or gun to get that money.

Being so addicted that you’d even steal off your own family, or even sell (your own body for a fix.)      Over 90% of crime in Britain is now drug related in someway.Whole communities wreaked by drug-crimes. Family’s broken, young life’s lost. Social destitution in some parts of Britain is now endemic.      We must as a Christian Country do all we can to help these poor lost Souls, recover from their drug addictions. Medical social and practical help, (all should play there part.)

(Putting drug addicts in prison for drug related crimes is of no use, as they only steal again on their release to fund their habits).

The real evil is of course, the Drug Dealers Who are in-fact worse than Mass-Murderers for their destruction of people communities and familys. Nothing will change until these drug dealers-in-death our stopped.

(Much is made of the harsh punishments handed out to drug dealers abroad in country’s such as Chine or Singapore, where executions or life with hard labour are the norm for such crimes.)

If only we in Britain had the judges and politicians prepared to bring in similar sentences, then drug crime would soon start to fall as the supply of hard drugs dried-up. Addicts would be encouraged to seek medical help, and all crime would begin to reduce significantly.

In a recent poll in Britain over 68% of the people polled wanted life imprisonment for drug dealers!! (Unfortunately none of our politicians from any of the main party’s has the backbone or guts, to introduce proper punishments, ridding are streets of these dealers in death. So we just muddle on despising all our MPs and Judges, (eventually people begin to look to the extremist party’s for help.)

This is just the opportunity that extremists hope to capitalise on, too expand their own hidden agendas. There are enormous financial profits to be made in selling these dangerous Drugs and I’m quite sure in many cases there are people in authority turning a blind eye for personal gain!!

Until we have a strong uncompromising cross-party consensus in introducing life sentences for drug dealers, I fear we’ll continue to throw our children too the wolves.

A very passionate write. I don’t think we will ever be able to erradicate drug addiction but if we could get the dealers off the streets it would help.

This is such a big problem and I for one do not know the best solution. Some of these dealers are young and could have a long useful life anhead of them if they could be turned around. Many are in so deep they can’t get out with their lives. Our children have to be taught to stay away from drugs and dealers. We all play a part in it.

What you mentioned is true. Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand have death sentences for drug traffickers and dealers. It may seem harsh but it’s the best deterrent. Drug addicts are the hardest to quit their habit.

I don’t disagree with your passionate concept but you’re going to think I am. If every drug dealer on earth was incarcerated the users would create dealers from among their own circle. For as long as there are users there will be dealers. Get rid of the users and the dealers will just atrophy.

Hi Ken drug dealers are like the roots of a weed, kill the roots and you kill the plant.
I agree new dealers will spring up, but we just have too keep up this hard Policy.
At the end of the day its our children we must think of .

Drug adddiction will never be completely gotten rid of however you are right; if there were tougher laws on those dealing, if there were stringent checks and proper prison sentences then it would at least mitigate the problem.
