Abortion is just cruel period.If you dont want the child there are over 2 million couples waiting on a list to be able to adopt.And you mothers out there,how can you live withyourselves:I watched a video in wich a unborn child was burned with acid and the child was really hurt,he or she was trying to get out of the way,the baby wanted to live but the cruel mother destroyed an innocent helpless live.imagine how much pain your putting your little child through,getting sucked out,burned with acid and other forms of abortion.Any human being with a consciouse would never have an abortion.And the doctors who give abortions are the most to blame,they dont care about you,they just kill your innocent baby for your money.think about it,love your child.

I find the term pregnancy termination telling. Why not tell it as it really is? Why not say a human termination. I guess that would ruffle too many feathers.

While early term abortions are far less gruesome, abortion in all its butchery is just that. What kind of society makes the tearing of an unborn child limb to limb an acceptable practice?

If you want to champion for abortion, why not champion for unborn children being dismembered, burned, suffocated, and having their brains sucked out? That’s what happens with abortion procedures.

I recently viewed some aborted babies and one baby in particular stood out, a little girl who had soft hair and eye lashes. She was perfect in every way–except that she was dead.

I wish you all to seriously think before you go for abortion. The feotus is a life that shouldn’t be denied for its existence. It’ll be cruel to damage one LIFE, and it’s no different than a KILLING.

No matter how you scold me damned poor and ridiculuos Chan to against abortion, I still stand firmly to defend my views on abortion. I strongly disagree and discourage females to go for abortion!!! Think that they’re just another HUMAN that can breathe!!!

I had an abortion when I was sixteen. for the week after my abortion I cried and felt sad often, but not because of my decision. I felt this way because of the hurtful things that people say about people who chose to have an abortion. I know that I made the best decision for myself and that is all that matters. These numbers are completely inaccurate and no source is listed. The auther of this article keeps calling these people “abortion victims”. Victim is in no way a term that should be used to depict these women. These women chose to have this procedure. No one strapped them down to a table and forced them into it and if by some chance they were, I am sorry for their misfortune. People need to know the facts about abortion, not lies that the conservative pro-life irrationalist post to scare people into a birthing a child they wish not to raise. This information is very inaccurate. I hope people inquiring abortion look else where.

I think that Chan left out one important statistic: 100% of the babies who are aborted die. The only ways to “terminate a pregnancy” are to kill the baby, give birth to him or her, or to suffer a miscarriage.

I retract my previous comments from this article, I apologise to those of you who are obviously upset by anothers opinion and view. I have not been asked to do this but I feel the article itself will become overlooked and it is a well written and researched article ( I still would like to see a change in the first line but that will not happen I know).

There are medical reasons for the termnation of pregnancy too, life saving reasons. I left the job as I did not approve of certain other reasons. I am just concerned about the first few words of the article as they are powerful words and Chan has a huge following and is a highly respected writer. I note that janeroe’s comments of Chan being an ignoramous has been overlooked, maybe you could tell her off too, I think I have taken enough of a bashing now.
