cigarettes and alcohol are more widely used then cannabis...this fact alone debunks your argument that they made marijuana illegal so more people would do it...

My beliefs are this.

I believe that the current way of living is unsustainable.
I believe that humanity made it this way by the way of greed and selfishness
                             {NOT BLAMING ANY PARTICULAR PEOPLE FOR THE ORIGIN OF THIS}
My beliefs are a mixture of so many sources because I have been at a stage of life where I realize I need to find what I believe and I have explored so many things.
It started out that I was just very fed up (I am now 20 and half smoked marijuana since the age of 10). So for a start I believe that marijuana definitely brainwashes people if they are in a situation that is half comfortable and using it constantly. I believe that if someone hits rock bottom from anything (including a marijuana addiction) that is often what it takes for them to start questioning what they believe in and gives them the motivation to act on it. Maybe this is because their confidence has been damaged in the past that they need to take this route. Some are born with the confidence and ability to find their beliefs from an early age. It differs

I never used to believe in any ONE thing. And I still don\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'t fully. I believe in a large mixture of theories on whatever scale you take it.
I believe that some characteristics we are born with and have a predisposition to. I believe that some characteristics are acquired from the environment and people around us.
I think that as a survival mechanism humans naturally try to look after the people that they are closest to. I think this is the root of the desire for power. I think this desire for power caused the implementation of money and currency as once someone has enough power naturally they will try to form some kind of order to keep it that way - so to protect the people closest to them.
I also believe that the environmental effects that a person experiences are equally important in shaping their beliefs and behavior. Whether this is all deterministic (based on biological processes that we don\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'t really have control of) or even based on our subconscious cognitive processes up to that point in life, it is vital in shaping our beliefs.
In most western countries, society is divided from the outset the moment people start to vote so nobody is ever going to make everyone happy in this way.
I think this world is past making a fair and sustainable way of life for the people in it so at this point I think the importance is trying to start with the people nearest to you who respect what you say enough to possibly adopt and accept it. In a society that thrives on making the lower classes compete against each other how is everyone EVER going to adopt the same view?
Whether we like it or not... this world will reach chaos point one day and if people are not all willing to sacrifice for equality
(which is VERY unlikely given the degeneration of moral standards through most countries in the world - usually achieved through the mismatched messages that are constantly imprinted on us by the media)
then we will degenerate further until we are back to basic instincts all over again. There will always be a point where the poor are oppressed so much that they realize it despite any amount of brainwashing and through sheer number I don\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'t think any rich people would remain rich by any means other than mass mass murder.

Even if that happens and the poor win. The basic instincts of animal nature will make the same cycle happen again just like
before.

Think about it. What do you think will happen when the world starts to run out of resources? The people in power at the time with the technology that COULD possibly keep them their would face a dilemma of whether they want to save everyone else or do what all humans have an instinctual desire to do - be able to reproduce themselves. This is why I sympathize with believers in the illuminati to an extent because they are scared of that happening. But I also believe that at heart those are mostly selfish people too because given the chance... they would turn the tables and be just as unfair to other people.

That is unless we all get wiped out by natural disaster.

That is my argument for a reason to believe in a higher power.

In my search for a higher power I met plenty of people. Some of the most decent people I met were christian and do you know what? What is more important than being happy and making those around you happy on the time that you do have??? and trying to instill on your children the same message so that hopefully it spreads??

When I accepted God I was at ease. God and the sacrifice Jesus made allows me to believe that the fate of the earth is not the end and that there IS still some point in trying to be a decent human being who walks in kindness. If there was no God I would be planning some way of starting to prepare with people who share the same beliefs as me right now because if God didnt exist... Why would I sit back and let people in power be in power at all????

I guess thats what you politicians think you are doing but I think more harm than good is done at this stage with the population of this earth. We destroy/pollute it just by sending a message for people to vote.

All the money that people so desperately care about is spent on things they wouldnt dream of saying yes to point blank. And if they did they are weak people who have not found their own personal Kingdom of Heaven. It lives in everyone even if they do not know it.

I think my morals lie with the environment at heart but I have accepted that God is the creator of the environment. Perhaps I am deluding myself because I see that humanity is beyond savior in any other way.

This is how my journey came to be. I am now christian after spending 99% atheist and to get back to the real point,

I THINK EVERYONE AT THIS STAGE SHOULD BELIEVE WHAT THEY LIKE. WE ARE TOO LATE TO AGREE ON THE SAME THING. APART FROM ONE: DONT BE AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PILE. WHETHER IT IS SPIRITUALLY OR PHYSICALLY. SO SO SAD BUT TRUE.

Of course I wish everyone had my beliefs. Who doesnt? I\'m not going to enforce them but I will preach them all day and stand up to anyone who tries to FORCE theirs on me... And I will be ready and guilt free. Trust me and trust God.

Im not saying turn to a branch of organized religion. Or even read the Bible everyday. Just know how God would like you to live and try your hardest to do it. At the very least you will find it rewarding in day to day life after a while even if you dont believe in the God part yet.

If there was no God I would be planning some way of starting to prepare with people who share the same beliefs as me right now because if God didnt exist… Why would I sit back and let people in power be in power at all????

Who doesnt? I’m not going to enforce them but I will preach them all day and stand up to anyone who tries to FORCE theirs on me… And I will be ready and guilt free. Trust me and trust God.

Im not saying turn to a branch of organized religion. Or even read the Bible everyday. Just know how God would like you to live and try your hardest to do it. At the very least you will find it rewarding in day to day life after a while even if you dont believe in the God part yet.

My beliefs are this.

I believe that the current way of living is unsustainable.
I believe that humanity made it this way by the way of greed and selfishness
                             {NOT BLAMING ANY PARTICULAR PEOPLE FOR THE ORIGIN OF THIS}
My beliefs are a mixture of so many sources because I have been at a stage of life where I realize I need to find what I believe and I have explored so many things.
And I still don\\\\\\\'t fully.
Whether this is all deterministic (based on biological processes that we don\\\\\\\'t really have control of) or even based on our subconscious cognitive processes up to that point in life, it is vital in shaping our beliefs.
There will always be a point where the poor are oppressed so much that they realize it despite any amount of brainwashing and through sheer number I don\\\\\\\'t think any rich people would remain rich by any means other than mass mass murder.

Even if that happens and the poor win. The basic instincts of animal nature will make the same cycle happen again just like
before.

Think about it. What do you think will happen when the world starts to run out of resources? The people in power at the time with the technology that COULD possibly keep them their would face a dilemma of whether they want to save everyone else or do what \\\\\\\'all\\\\\\\' humans have an instinctual desire to do - be able to reproduce themselves.

I think this desire for power caused the implementation of money and currency as once someone has enough power naturally they will try to form some kind of order to keep it that way - so to protect the people closest to them.

I also believe that the environmental effects that a person experiences are equally important in shaping their beliefs and behavior. Whether this is all deterministic (based on biological processes that we don't really have control of) or even based on our subconscious cognitive processes up to that point in life, it is vital in shaping our beliefs.

In most western countries, society is divided from the outset the moment people start to vote so nobody is ever going to make everyone happy in this way.

I think this world is past making a 'fair' and 'sustainable' way of life for the people in it so at this point I think the importance is trying to start with the people nearest to you who respect what you say enough to possibly adopt and accept it.

There will always be a point where the poor are oppressed so much that they realize it despite any amount of brainwashing and through sheer number I don't think any rich people would remain rich by any means other than mass mass murder.

Even if that happens and the poor win. The basic instincts of animal nature will make the same cycle happen again just like
before.

Think about it. What do you think will happen when the world starts to run out of resources? The people in power at the time with the technology that COULD possibly keep them their would face a dilemma of whether they want to save everyone else or do what 'all' humans have an instinctual desire to do - be able to reproduce themselves.

If there was no God I would be planning some way of starting to prepare with people who share the same beliefs as me right now because if God didn't exist... Why would I sit back and let people in power be in power at all????

I guess that's what you politicians think you are doing but I think more harm than good is done at this stage with the population of this earth. We destroy/pollute it just by sending a message for people to vote.

All the money that people so desperately care about is spent on things they wouldn't dream of saying yes to point blank.

APART FROM ONE: DON'T BE AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PILE. WHETHER IT IS SPIRITUALLY OR PHYSICALLY. SO SO SAD BUT TRUE.

Of course I wish everyone had my beliefs. Who doesn't? I'm not going to enforce them but I will preach them all day and stand up to anyone who tries to FORCE theirs on me... And I will be ready and guilt free. Trust me and trust God.

I'm not saying turn to a branch of organized religion. Or even read the Bible everyday. Just know how God would like you to live and try your hardest to do it. At the very least you will find it rewarding in day to day life after a while even if you don't believe in the God part yet.

My beliefs are this.

I believe that the current way of living is unsustainable.
I believe that humanity made it this way by the way of greed and selfishness

                             {NOT BLAMING ANY PARTICULAR PEOPLE FOR THE ORIGIN OF THIS}

And I still don’t fully.

I think this desire for power caused the implementation of money and currency as once someone has enough power naturally they will try to form some kind of order to keep it that way – so to protect the people closest to them.

I also believe that the environmental effects that a person experiences are equally important in shaping their beliefs and behavior.
First off, might want to educate yourself on this topic before trying to speak on it. Pot Does NOT cause side effects such as personal complacency, laziness, lack nuclear family units, lack of moral values, the path of least resistance, welfare abuse. These are personal traits that have nothing to do with marijuana. People who smoke pot that are this way, would be this way without pot. For you to say people smoke pot to rebel because the government made it illegal is the dumbest thing i have ever heard. pot was legal at one time.. people smoke then and they will smoke now regardless of the law. Pot does not hurt anyone. show me one death or dangerous side effects caused by smoking pot. you cant stop what the majority of people want
