Some people struggle with spelling difficult words, but knowing how to spell your own street name should be a big priority when you first move into the house! Dispatchers can sometimes see the location of where a call is being made, but not in all cases.
With most people using cell phones instead of regular land line phones to communicate today, sometimes it is harder for a 911 operator to tell where a call is coming from. Many cell phone towers are being adjusted for that reason, and new technologies are being incorporated into 911 centers.
