Mosque at Ground Zero? Why Not?

The debate and uproar over whether a Mosque should be built in the area where the 9/11 attacks occurred is very disturbing and hypocritical. It’s all embarrassing to people who claim to be "real" Americans. Think about it. The following paragraphs may help you remember a few things.

The fact is Americans are insulted when they hear that other countries do not allow the open practice of Christianity! The first thing they say is “we aren’t like that here”. Well apparently we are no different.

And what exactly are they doing that is so offensive? The Muslim teachings are not what killed the just under 3000 people in the World Trade Center. A bunch of radical money grubbing war whores enlisted a handful of mentally unstable pseudo Muslims to do their bidding. That is who should be held accountable. Yes including the man who we were told would be caught by Christmas of 2001! Which is another topic all together.

Okay think about this. (Back to point #2) Why do you attack a country like this to begin with? What were the terrorist trying to do?

That is very obvious. The same agenda any war has. To influence a determined enemy. The fact is these vermin do not have the resources to build an army and they are not backed by any specific nation to declare a war in the traditional sense. So what is the next best thing?

Of course, to cause unrest and to scare people. To make them think about you and to have you acknowledge them. But they also win to some degree if they get you to change what you allegedly stand for!

The people who claim to be Muslim and are not Muslim,  are accusing the “America” way of life to be wrong and a joke. They are calling you hypocrites and saying they hate you because you hate Muslims. They are calling out the USA in front of the eyes of the world and saying you are the low life’s of society and that you are the savages among humanity.

Well guess what, if you treat people who are not doing anything illegal as if they are criminals and you deny people the Constitutional right to practice their faith than the terrorists are right!

Hey like it or not, you claim to believe in the American way, so put your actions where your mouth is and practice what you preach!

And shame on he so called leaders in the US Government. Yes they allegedly are too answer to their consituents. However they are also to look out for the welfare of the people. Why are they not reminding every one what this nation claims to stand for?

To his credit the President is actually trying to do so and people are ridiculing him for it! Another embarrassment to you so called “Patriots”.

Get a life people and listent to hwhat you are saying for once in your life.

I agree with you and am in the middle or preparing my own article on the same subject. Every Muslim cannot be blamed and vindicated against for the 9/11 attacks.

I think the problem is this; there has not been enough of an outcry from other Muslim groups against terrorism. After 9/11 there was a text message going from phone to phone all through the middle east; Egypt, Syria, Jordan….which basically hailed the attacks. Not everyone thought it was a good thing, but those who didn’t were quiet.

One suspects that if such a Centre is built someone will blow it up.
