Most Precious Thing We All Have

Can you think about anything which is more special than your parents?

Parents, are the most precious gift God has given us. I firmly believe on this. No one in this world can take place of your parents. Whatever I am now, it is just the result of the hard work done by my parents and same is the case with each one of us.

I just can’t imagine how much effort a mother and father make throughout their life to see their child happy. Whether they are capable enough or not but they want their child to reach the maximum height possible in which ever field he/she feels comfortable. Nourishing and training of a child is not an easy job. I have come across people getting frustrated by children. But then why the parents never frustrate, do they don’t have emotions? The answer is pretty simple, emotions of frustration, anger all gets removed by one emotion, the emotion of love.

I still remember my father’s scoldings when i was in sixth class, he used to teach me mathematics. To be honest i really loved the subject. I got good marks in that too, thanks to my father. But i had a habit of doing silly and stupid mistakes.

My father used to sit with a scale and allot me questions to perform from the exercise. One silly mistake awarded me two scales and sometimes slaps also..:P. At that time, i really felt bad and angry less for my silly mistakes than on my father. I never understood what those scoldings were for. My father was preparing me to become the best, although i got 18 marks out of 20 but the reason why those two marks got cut was the reason for my punishment. This helped me a lot, and resulted in getting 98 and 95 marks in ICSE and ISC Board examination.

My mother, words are less to describe her complete role in my nourishment. First of start with she is too much religious, strongly believes in all rituals. I have been driving bike for four years but still she feels afraid in sending me for long distance ride. This is completely unacceptable when my point of view is considered, but when i think from her perspective, i witness an ocean full of my mother’s love afraid to leave her child alone to this world. I cannot explain what all my mother has done for me, and i think no one else can.

It feels disgraceful to hear people sending such precious gifts to the so called OLD AGE HOMES. Whenever such kind of thought comes to your mind, just remember any one instance between you and your parents when you were a child.

Always respect and love your parents, agree to their ways of living and be a reason for sweet smile on their face…:)

I very much agree with us. However, children would be another answer to the same question, for many people I guess. Lovely article friend.
