Mumbai Blast…again
India’s financial capital is again suffering from a terrorist attack.
India’s financial capital Mumbai is again under a serious trouble.Three explosions in Mumbai have taken place in some of the most crowded neighbourhoods in the city. These explosions took place in Zaveri Bazaar, Opera House business district and Dadar district.Indian home ministry said the explosions are a terrorist attack. The latest explosions hit the city around 7 pm (Indian Standard time) as workers were making their way home. After the blast, the city has been put on a state of high alert. But, it is too late.Mumbai suffered from another terrorist attack in November 2008 in which nearly 170 people were killed. The authorities have not yet declared who are responsible for these explosions. No terrorist agency has claimed the responsibility.
Opera House, next door, is a business district.Dadar is located at the heart of the city. It has one of the most crowded railway stations in Mumbai.Zaveri Bazar is a famous for jewellery market. It has been targeted before: during the serial blasts in the city in 1993.
The explosion in Zaveri Bazaar was reported in a jewellery shop.
Another blast was in Dadar district, in the city centre. It went off in a taxi next to a bus stop.
The third explosion hit the Opera House district at a time when it would have been crowded.
The blasts came on the birthday of Mohammad Ajmal Amir Qasab. He was the only gunman who survived from the 2008 attacks.
The choice of locations makes it clear that the blasts were intended to cause maximum casualties.
It’s high time India respond strongly and punish the guilty.Terrible terrorist attack in mumbai killed 8 and injures 70 and this figures are incresing.
