Consider: violence is global. And therefore it is our duty as parents to expose children to violence--as per our metering--not to harm them, but to inform them. To teach them. "This is the world, here is how to deal with it." So that when they grow up, they do not grow up jaded and overexposed or sheltered and kept from violence to a crippling degree. Nay, I say. They need to know what it is, without anger being involved. If we as adults can give them that, then the next generation will stand a better chance of peaceful living.
