My Thoughts: Part Eleven.

On August 21, 2011, my aunt and I went for an outing with my grandmother to pick up my grandmother’s new lenses from Pearl Vision, that afternoon.  She elected to use her old frames, instead of getting new ones.  The optician said that according to their policy, if a customer’s glasses frames are only a year old, they can elect to use those frames instead of having to purchase new ones, and he or she would only have to pay for the lenses of the glasses.  In my opinion, this is a good deal.  It’s quite a bargain.

Upon arriving to Pearl Vision, we were directed by the receptionist to take a seat at the desk near the window, where an optician would assist us, by removing my grandmother’s old lenses from her frames, and replacing them with the new lenses.  Now, my grandmother can read the smallest, finest print; whereas, before, she couldn’t.  I’m so glad for her, and about the new lenses improving the quality of her sight.

We then went to Wal-Mart, where we walked around for a bit.  I bought a pack of sugar free chewing gum for just 96 cents.  From Wal-Mart, we headed on home, and ate dinner.  We had tomato and cucumber salad with bologna and cheese sandwiches.  My sandwich was on whole wheat bread, topped with mayonnaise.
