My Triond Earnings

Restarted Triond some days ago. Have yet to make a substantial amount. Of course I have heard of people making money(some, at least!) out here. I am always wondering if I am cut out for this? Will it work for me?
Earnings please!

A BIG HELLO dear friends and readers. Thank You  for pausing here! Whatever be the reason, even if it’s just  for a hurried click-your presence(however brief) is very much appreciated! Thank you, once again. And I will try, my best, to read your articles and post comments.

Here I go…

When I started out I published an article on  http://webupon.com/search-engines/can-you-make-a-living-on-triond/ where I have tried to address the issue of making a living on Triond. I am aware that there are a lot of people who have logged on to Triond with the same hope as me.

YES we want to write

YES we want to publish

YES we want to make friends

YES we want to learn

But most of all WE WANT TO EARN!

“We want our Triond Earnings to show!”(don’t WE?)

There are a lot of sites online advertising ways by which you can make money. There are among the foremost money making sites:

the sites for making money by clicks,

the sites for making money by taking surveys,

and the sites for making money bypublishing.

The publishing sites work more or less on the princliple of views and clicks on advertisements placed on your site. Such sites are mainly about writing, publishing and “marketing“!

Besides there is also tons of information available on the web telling us:How to do it? Suggestions, tips, even courses. Advice is available abundantly(and constantly)- sometimes there is a small fee but there’s plenty(of mighty good stuff) going for free too! There is an abundance of information and opportunities on the internet. You just have to cash in on it! Or so it seems…Simple and easy!

There are times when I  really believe I can do it! You know I think I have sufficient knowledge about: How to get traffic, how to raise your ratings, search engines, RSS,  etc. etc. And experience too in trying it all out but then my poor account  just doesn’t prove it! Just to give you the exact picture: Have made 8 cents so far on Triond for about 200 clicks -19 articles – 20 days.  And there’s no exact account of the time I put in: I would say an average of 3 hours everyday. In retrospect, it seems like a huge investment for almost no return…It’s like working for free! Besides, the doubt and desperation are always there nagging me from somewhere behind…sometimes these fellows seem distant but right now the knocking is “Hard and loud” pestering me:”What the heck are you doing on Triond?” IAM TRYING IT OUT!

If I had a job even working on minimum wage for an hour in a month, I would make more, MUCH MORE! Then why don’t I get a job? Will take up this matter another time.  Right now I feel like a loser writer (or to be more precise-loser writer-earner)but I am going to continue here for many other other reasons which I will tell you’ll about in my forthcoming article:

My Reasons for being on Triond.

Thank you for your time.

If you write for passion then Triond is a good site to hone your skill. Regarding earnings, if you desire big bucks, then forget about writing be it here or other writing sites. All we get here is passive income. Luckily, I am one of those who earn some decent bucks enough to pay my internet bill and have extra for burgers.

Think of Triond as a school to learn content writing, then once you build your traffic try some free lance writing sites. These sites provide clients with specific needs. They will pay you for your writing which will be more lucrative then waiting or revenue shares. Revenue sharing is good too, but Triond is not very good at rewarding its writers. The community here is great which is why I will still post my fun writing, but my serious writing will go elsewhere till I see Triond making better efforts.

I’m still on Triond because I find many good friends here. Friendship on triond is very valuable, because it can mean promotion. Of course promotion our article. and it can influence our earning.

On the other hand, you’re doing much better than I did my first 20 days on this site. Congratulations. Income per click fluctuates considerably on this site. The more articles you have, the more views you will get. I caution you that If you have a job, you shouldn’t quit it to write for Triond.

I hear ya. It takes time to build up a portfolio of articles that continue to bring traffic to you. I have over 200 articles. Some Trionders are making a lot of money using SEO techniques, which I have yet to master. I don’t think I will ever make a living here, but, it’s a stepping stone to other things, like writing ebooks, freelancing and other writing projects.

As soon as one of us figures this out, we’ll need to share with one another. Until then, we’ll just keep each other company and read each other’s articles. :-)

It’s been suggested that once you have over 500 articles you can make more income out of it but I most definitely treat it as a part time thing to be fitted into a couple of spare hours on top of my day job. I wouldn’t want to try relying on it as I’d find myself on the street very quickly! I earn more from sites like Ciao.co.uk currently but I’ve been on there for years.

All too true! Sadly with today’s advancements in technology I fear the written word is under threat (and I’m a film student). It’d be nice to make a living from what we write. I suppose there is wealth to be had not just in finance but in audience.

I’ve been here for almost a month writing for Triond. I continue to write hoping that I will magically write that one special article that will get millions upon millions of views, which may equate to some sizable earnings. (Keep dreaming — right?) So far one of my articles is getting quite a lot of views daily — but the views are from China which is not beneficial for the ads. My advice is to keep writing, especially if you enjoy it. As for making a living — so far — I do not see Triond as a vestibule for making a lot of money. Thanks for your interesting share.

Looking forward to reading your article, My Reasons for being on Triond. Keep writing. I joined Triond in 2008 and gave up too quickly. I didn’t really start writing and enjoying the community until 2011. God Bless!

Strange how in the comments all people are willing to admit it is rather impossible, and then the articles telling you you can make it are many.

If you wish after 3 days you can re-publish your Triond articles and earn more. It is now one of the highest paying get paid to write sites. Pay attention: if you plan to re-publish, make sure you use the same username.
If you wish you can check out my profile. I am referring to the 1st link.
Happy writing, happy publishing, happy earnings.
    Thanks.
