Next Generation on Voyage of Self-destruction?

Behaviour & actions of today’s teenagers & their effects on society.

In 2007 in London, 27 teenagers were stabbed to death, that equates roughly to about 2 fatal stabbings each & every month. During the period of May 27th-29th 2006 in London, there were over 50 knife related attacks, thats 25 a day! And not all attacks are reported to the Police, only a very small margin, pehaps only around 1 in 5 incidents. More than 20 teens died from knife attacks in 2004 alone & criminologists now believe that people carrying knives are a bigger threat than people carrying guns. It has steadily got worse & the statistics definately prove this to be true & that it will continue to get worse unless there is a remedy to the situation. If we could Interview all those responsible for knife attacks & see the musical influences in their lives, would a pattern emerge? Would they all be influenced by the same genre? Would they all have at least something in common? Very highly likely.

So with a mix of ignorance, media & musical influence & an ever increasing crime rate its surely no surprise that the kids dont wanna play anymore, they want to kill each other instead. Their lives are more fragile now than ever before, & they cant seem to see the destruction & pain that they are dealing out. They are killing each other for fun almost, & its sickening to know they are so self-obsessed they cant see it, & that tommorow another young life may end because of their pathetic ignorance. The effect on society is easy to see, people are afraid to go out, afraid to be on the street, people are afraid to walk past group’s of teens, if they are noisy or not it does’nt matter, the stigma is there now & it wont wash away quickly. Society lives in perpetual fear of the few, those few with no respect for anything or anyone including themselves. What will the future effect on society be if this is left to escalate? Will crimes be committed by younger & younger people as we are now starting to see? What will the ultimate cost be? Are we really just watching a generation destroy itself from within, just to be able to fit in with the modern way of thinking & acting that is not even their own?
