A child is missing and needs our help as citizens. There is an amber alert for a girl missing in Orange County.

This could be your child and you could be the parents waiting for news on his/her return. We pray and hope that our children will be safe everday for all the dangers in the world. Knowing that we can’t protect them 24 hours a day we give it good try. Somer Renee Thompson, 7 years old went missing on her way from school “according to the Amber Alert”. She has been missing since October 19, 2009 (Monday afternoon), she’s 3′ 5″ in height,65 pounds with brown hair and eyes. So many kids are still missing and that breaks my heart. Hopefully this will reach some of you who didn’t see the AMBER ALERT and you will be looking out for the little angel. Please everyone pray for her to have a safe and speedy return to her parents. There is no leads on what could have happen to her but I’m hopeful they will find her .

What is this world coming to when our kids are not safe anywhere. We are just going to have to tighten the reign on protecting our kids. We have Neighborhood Watch Groups, maybe we need Kids Watch Group. Parents can come together and work at a schedule where an adult will always be present with our kids. Meeting them after school/picking them up, taking them to the park and other daily activities. This is just a suggestion, if you have some please share them with me.
