Obama Tries Petty Politics in Order to Coerce Republicans
by In this article I write how even though investigation after investigation has concluded no wrong doing by president Bush and his administration, Obama and company use the idea of unethical and immoral behavior by Bush to coerce Republicans.
On September 11, 2001 19 Saudi Arabia terrorist attacked America. Early on this day two planes were flown in to the Twin Towers in New York. One plane was flown in to the Pentagon. Passengers on a fourth plane force their plane down in to a field in Pennsylvania so it could not be used as a weapon. These attacks resulted in over four thousand deaths.
The enemy was quickly identified. A group called Al Qaeda operating in Afghanistan with protection from the Taliban government was responsible. President Bush required that the Taliban allow US forces to take Al Qaeda operatives in to custody.
The Taliban leadership refused to cooperate with the US. For months, many of us observed the exchange between the Taliban and the US.
The war began in Afghanistan. In a few months, US forces took over Afghanistan. The Taliban and Al Qaeda ran like cowards to hide in the mountains.
Then the rumblings of a possible attack on Iraq begin to surface. First, these rumblings were rumors. President Bush was using the United Nations to get Sadam to allow the weapons inspectors to continue their work.
Eventually, Sadam agreed. The United Nations weapons inspectors resumed their work as mandated by UN resolutions after Iraq invaded Kuwait and refused to leave. Before long, however, Iraqi military forces started interfering with the UN inspections.
It is fact that Iraq at one time had WMD’s. Biological and Chemical weapons were found and documented by the UN after the Gulf War. It has always been my contention that a person like Sadam does not invest so much in these weapons just to destroy them.
Had Iraq complied with UN inspections, there would not of been a need for war. Iraq’s continued involvement in a WMD programs were of great danger to the US. On more then one occasion Sadam showed the world how irrational he could be. Kurdish people had been gassed. Iraq invaded Iran and Kuwait. On a regular basis, Iraqi officials tortured and killed people they suspected as traitors.
Al Qaeda and Sadam with his WMD programs could not be allowed to continue. I do not consider Muslim extremist my equals. They are not people who want to be left alone to fall in love with their dreams and to work at fulfilling these dreams.
