Obesity and Its Issues

Today America is known as the fattest nation in the world. This article will explore obestity and give you the statistics you should know.

Like said above the United states of America is the fattest nation in the world and who can wonder why when there is a McDonald’s, Burger king, Dairy queen, etc. around every corner. Some people just eat away at this bad food without even thinking. And to top most Americans are getting the daily recommended exircise they should. Whats so hare about exircising. Get out there and do it because its up to you to lower the obese statistics. Obesity is the #2 reason for preventable death behind smoking. That’s just ridiculous if you ask me. In 1982 childhood obesity rates were 4% and in 1994 that statistic had changed to 16% and new studies show that one and four overweight children are already showing signs of type II diabetes. And a study in 2008 showed that Alabama was the fattest state with 31.4% overweight of the population. With Obesity rates the way they are and climbing we need to change it. It’s extremely unhealthy and lowers you life expectancy. Fast food is good in moderation but not all the time. So go out there, change statistics. If your a obese adult stop eating the unhealthy food and switch to healthy choices. Another important step is doing exircise. Buy a gym membership and use it as much as you can. Lift weights, use the treadmill, do sit ups, etc. Gradually as you do this we can become a healthier nation together and you can set a example for our children. They look up to you so show them was right and wrong and also show them how to be healthy. And if your a obese kid and your reading this you know what to do, get exircise and eat healthy. Maybe you can set a example for your parents. And during the process of becoming healthier try to stop smoking too.
