by I do construction for a living and I drive big trucks with lots of tools. Gas is up to $3.90 here in Oregon. If I drive, on an average, 100 miles a day to get back and forth to my job site, and average ten miles to the gallon, that is $39. Five days a week at four weeks per month is twenty trips to and from work. Twenty times $39 is $780.
Time for one of my nightly rants. This time…

Now let me ask how many of you have been having troubles paying your rent or your mortgage? Maybe a little behind on the bills or the credit card? How much do you make in a month?
HOW IN THE HELL CAN YOU PAY THE RENT WHEN YOU SPEND IT ALL TRYING TO EARN IT!
You know, this does not include the trips to the grocery store or the soccer game.
I cannot afford to cut the lawn because I need every drop for my truck,… you know,… so I can make more money to pay for the gas.
THEY WILL WORK US LIKE SLAVES UNTIL THEY PUT US IN OUR GRAVES!
What happened? What got US to this point of retribution?
I figure it started with revolution, (*1776*). Then freedom. Of course prosperity followed. Then complacency. Then greed. Than regulation. Then control. Then a complete break down which will inevitably lead to the exact same place we started,…REVOLUTION!
Then again,… it could be the unions, big corporations, OPEC, world banks, international elite???
This is America, it can’t happen here. We are the most powerful country in the world. Nobody can control our government but We The People.
EVER GET THE FEELING THAT WE ARE NO LONGER IN CONTROL OF OUR OWN DESTINY?
We are the many and they are the few.
This is true but there is one simple flaw,… human nature,… greed. I’ll get you to that point in a sec.
We are the many. If you add up all the hunters in the united states, we have the largest ready militia ever in existence. With all the farmers and construction workers, truckers, railway engineers, tug boat captains,… we have the worlds largest mechanical ground forces ever dreamed of. Cable TV, internet connections, cell phones, I-phones, laptops,… the worlds largest communications network.
