One-Eyed Justice:

The Systems and Administrative Procedures of Justice–criminal or civil, are too complicated to benefit simple and honest-to-good people. Frankly speaking, true and equitable justice tries to compensate the wronged person (the victim) through monetary or other benefits while at the same time punishing the perpetrator with a fine and/or jail term/death. However, justice as it is administered in the Capitalist USA or Communist China is like a One-Eyed Cyclops. More often than not, it is the victim who suffers for speaking the truth. In capitalist countries money holds sway whereas in communist countries Kangaroo Court action is the rule. As usual the wronged person is victimised.

The administration of American justice has not progressed much beyond the days of the Ox-Bow Lake Incident and the Wild West Cowboy tales. Legal eagles may have multiplied along with legalese and legal jargon, now in computerised versions. An occasional Erin Brokovich may have turned the tables on the capitalist judicial system. But? –but innocents, particularly Single Women, like Lucille Iacovelli continue to suffer from the vagaries of the US-Justice system. Pursuant to a botched cosmetic surgery by an eminent US Plastic Surgeon on her face, she has been going downhill physically and financially for the last eight years or so. The purported Revision Face Lift after a nose job, left the interiors of her nose-mouth-throat in ruins, making breathing, swallowing food and sleeping difficult. Now this lady in her sixties, economically below the poverty line, is facing imprisonment and fine for posting her horror story on a few sites on the net. Egged on by the medical perpetrator, the courts are not only curbing her Right to Freedom of Speech and Expression but is also hell bent on seizing her Personal Computer!? Some may have read her story and similar horror stories of failed plastic surgeries on “Losing Face Group” postings on the Net. Now, is this continuing horror aided by the US courts of justice fair? What about the famous US-Double Jeopardy convention? –hey, this is Quadruple Jeopardy!

Conclusion:

As things stand, Lucille Iacovelli is continuing to lose everything in this Lose-Lose situation. Facing imminent imprisonment Lucia may lose her life as well, fighting the One-Eyed Cyclops of the US-justice system. May be some kind of Help Group will come forward and bail out this innocent victim from her predicament and at least help her die with dignity.
