Osama Bin Laden Dead
Almost ten years after 9/11, Osama Bin Laden is dead. The news of the assassination of Al Qaeda’s leader was announced by United States president Barack Obama. Bin Laden was killed during the operation of a small team of American agents in Pakistan. Thousands of American citizens are out on the streets celebrating the death of Bin Laden. Former U.S. President George Bush, characterized the death of Bin Laden as a worldwide achievement.
American President Barack Obama announced that Osama Bin Laden was killed early on Sunday morning, in Abbottabad, Pakistan, 100 kilometres north of Islamabad.
An anonymous American officer announced that Osama Bin Laden’s corpse was thrown at the sea. He explained that according to Muslim tradition the body should be buried within 24 hours after the death. Bearing in mind that no country would accept the burial of the number 1 most wanted terrorist in the world in its grounds, the United States decided that his body should be thrown at the sea. The American officer did not specify exactly where Osama Bin Laden’s corpse was thrown.

Pakistani television networks that had broadcasted a picture of a partially disfigured face belonging to a corpse, said that this belonged to Osama Bin Laden. They later admitted that it was a fake photo and they withdrew it.
Many television networks had broadcasted this picture, clarifying that they were not 100% sure whether or not it was the leader of Al Qaeda.
According to sources, during the American operation in Pakistan, three more men were killed, among which were the brother and one of the sons of Osama Bin Laden. Pakistani news networks broadcasted on Monday morning that the deaths from the American operation are at least 20.
Before Barack Obama announced the news, he called to inform his predecessors George Bush and Bill Clinton.
