Osama Bin Laden to France: Leave or They Die
Osama Bin Laden tried to threat the Government of France in order to pull out there troops in Afghanistan.
An audio tape that has been published by Al-Jazeera television featuring Osama Bin Laden’s voice speaking to the French government to pull out there troops in Afghanistan or French hostages will die.
Osama Bin Laden is probably referring to those hostages that were kidnapped by Al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghred in Niger. There are also several French nationals that has been reportedly kidnapped in Afghanistan.
But, the French replied to the threat and said that they are not pulling out the troops in Afghanistan, being there allies. Bernard Valero, French Foreign Ministry spokesman said “We are determined to pursue our action in favor of the Afghan people, with our allies” in New York Times.
The AFP, Reuters, and the Associated Press confirmed that it was Osama Bin Laden in the Voice of the tape. The tape said “We repeat the same message to you: the release of your prisoners in the hands of our brothers is linked to the withdrawal of your soldiers from our country”.
Although some officials calls for the withdrawal of the troops that are held in Afghanistan, there are over 3,500 troops that are stationed in the country.
This will result in the independence of the Afghan people and would prove that they are willing and it allies to free Afghan if they can already protect themselves.
