Osama Bin Laden’s family
Although the “black sheep” of the family is maybe under the Arabic Sea, the Bin Laden family is still doing business according to the Daily Mail. Many people similar to Bin Laden are making good money in different areas of activity.
Even if the Bin Laden family stopped doing business in United States or Great Britain after 11 September attacks they reoriented quickly. The most well known source of money for the terrorist relatives is the commerce made in Jeddah harbor (Saudi Arabia).
Meanwhile, Switzerland became the house for many of the descendants of the Bin Laden family. This picture shows Osama Bin Laden(2nd in the right, with a green sweater) when he was 14 years old in a family vacation in Falun(Sweden) in 1971. Daily Mail observes the fact that his family was very “occidental” regarding the way of dressing and they had a pink Cadillac.
Osama’s father married 22 times and had over 50 children. Many of those in the photo (including Osama), are the children of Sheikh Mohammed bin Laden, a Yemen immigrant that established in Saudi Arabia. His fortune was built on his entrepreneur spirit and the friendship with the Saudi king.
Mohammed had time for his family too. He remarried 22 times and had over 50 children. Mohammed made a lot of money because he got the exclusive rights to build all the Saudi sanctuaries in Mecca, Medina and Jerusalem. When he died, in 1967, Mohammed left the financial empire to his son Salem, educated at Millfield, England.
Salem also became a close friend with the Saudi King and made business with many people including George W. Bush. The conspiracy theorists said that after the 11 September attacks, 13 members of the Bin Laden family were helped to leave the country.

Like his father, Salem died in a plane crash and the family business was continued by his older brother, Bakar, that studied at Miami (U.S.A.). He still runs the commerce business, helped by 12 brothers. Also, he is rarely seen in public, he is the most important figure of the city Jeddah.

Actually the Bin Ladin family was allowed to leave the U.S.A. after 9/11 since there was no suggestion that any except Osama Bin Ladin was involved in the attacks.
