Our Gender: The Real Score

There always was discrimination between men and women. Since I can remember my history, women were never seen like a Human, if I can say it that way!  I think that people before us, jump too fast to conclusion that we were inferior to man. So it’s why I think that in our society, it is easier to be a man at work and in everyday’s life.

I’m not a man but what I see everyday helps me to say that men are luckier at work. I can talk about many subjects like wage equity, to be accept for any job or just to make this or this thing at work. People always ask men to make something big like manual things because they think that we cannot to do it because were not strong or we don’t know how to do it. For the equity part, it was always know that men were most paid then women. We even fight for this and we continue and someday we can win the wage equity because it’s not fair to do the same job than man and be paid less. It’s demand the same effort and the same time so we have to be at the same level to men.

Secondly, when we say insults to man/woman, it’s always much malicious when it’s a woman. The words used for a woman it’s “bitch” or “slut” and for a guy it’s like idiot or player. We can see that it’s affecting more the person’s moral for a girl. In another way of view, when a girl slept with many boys we say that she’s a slut and for boys it’s just normal to sleep with many girls and they are proud of them to say that. At school, girls are much mean towards themselves than boys. Girls talk about others when they’re not there and they’ll do everything they can do to lower them while boys just fight each other!

To summarize, whatever we will do, we will always be seen like a top secret subject. Men will shut up what they do to women and it will be considerate like normal. Writing this text liberate some things that I had always wanted to say. I don’t think that women’s life is really this way but I’m close to reality.
