Overpopulation

We live in a world which has an approximate population of 7 billion. Even now the population is growing and it is said that 17 children in the whole world are born every second. This shows how fast the human population is growing and now it is high time that we must control this population.

Right now the 2 most populated countries in the world are India and China, it is very important for both these countries to stop the population growth because if the population keeps on increasing at this rate then soon the people on the earth will not have sufficient resources.

Population is a very useful resource which means that if a country has a high population then it has got a good amount of man power and this can be utilized in the development but over population occurs when the growth of population gets uncontrolled and this has got many drawbacks.

Overpopulation can cause the scarcity of resources like water and food, the main problem occurs when too many people utilize resources like petroleum which re non renewable and take millions of years to get replenished.

In several overpopulated countries the resources have become very scarce as the resources are not growing in quantity but the people who want to use them have increased by staggering numbers.

If we all have to act then this is the time to act and that is why we need to put a limit on this population growth so that the human race can sustain itself on earth.
