Pampered Life vs. End of The World

The way of life is all about how fast we can go in a car, how fast we can send twenty texts, how yada yada yada internet and all that jazz. Life as we know it would fall apart if everything stopped working. No one could make food without a mircowave, no one could get anywhere because we can’t drive cars after a while due to the fact that we have no gas is around anymore. People can’t even live without bottled water! I should know, I take people out that buy two 24 packs of just water alone.

But what would happen if the world did manage to come to an end and life as we know came to an end? Could we manage to get water that isn’t full of things that will not only make us sick but could kill us? Could we manage to purify it? Or what about getting food? can anyone in the world today that hasn’t used a gun, or any other way to hunt manage it? And this shelter that we all know and love? This would also be a problem out there.

The truth is not a whole lot of people are able to know these things or let alone care. In this time if we were to plunge head first into a world with nothing, could we make it? Could anyone manage to make a village of people once again and have a stable communitty? And if so will there be a way to manage to keep this little village safe?

Sure there are shows that SHOW you how to do this but can we as a person do these things? I say yes. The human spirit to take action and push themself to the point that would normally have them stop before they would even consider this. We would strive to manage to not only put the pain as far away from our minds as we can, but to over come it and laugh at it later.

There are stories of how people have been to the point of no return and returned with their life. Be it falling into a canyon, being stranded out at sea, or crashing in Africa. The human will is something that amazes me and ust about everyone else in the world. You have people lifting up cars to save kids under them. People willing themselves to keep moving even with a broken leg. And to go out of their way to help one another. The Act of Human Kindness also proves that we will stop at nothing when someone is hurt or scared.

Maybe it’s just in our blood, maybe it’s how we were raised, or maybe it’s just the human way. Whatever the cause is we as a human race will manage to be throne back into the stone ages. We can manage to figure out which berries to eat and not to eat. Something in the code that might be hidden behind our greasy fingers of a ‘pampered’ life. Whatever you think the truth is: if you feel like you will never manage to go on without your cell phone or because you broke a nail, just see what will happen when you put your life is on the line.
